Standing

Tonight, after watching half of the movie Babies, I fed Cole on the living room floor because Sir Crankiness was not happy being restrained in his high chair. While I was feeding him, he pushed and pulled himself up to a stand, not once, not twice, but three times! He was so proud of himself he did it for daddy! It was so cute the way he was so proud of his accomplishment. I'm sorry to say we did not capture the moment on digital film. But I'm sure you can imagine it. What's funny is that in the movie Babies, there is a section in which the babies somehow learn to get themselves to a standing position. When the baby from Namibia, Africa does it, he (she?) is so proud of himself. He's all smiles. So I guess the feeling is universal.
