A year in teething

So it really hasn't been a year in teething, but it has been a rough 4-5 months in teething. Bevin has five teeth in now and she's in pain nearly every day recently as the most recent additions move their way down.  I decided to put together a collage of iPhone photos I've captured of her shoving something into her mouth to alleviate the pain. This is the result. It's pretty cute.

The downside of the teeth coming in is as follows:
Cranky at night and whenever it's time to sleep
Biting everyone
Especially biting Mama during nursing time. Ouch.

Random, like a snow day

Because I have no time or energy to sit down and write out the eight separate blog posts swimming around my head I felt the need to write a collection of random thoughts and hope you enjoy it.

Bevin will be 11 months in three days and she has green eyes! Ya heard?! I don't know how it's possible, but they're beautiful!

Just an update - she's a super crawler who loves to cruise and can stand on her own and get up to a stand with no help whatsoever. Also? She follows Cole wherever he asks her to go.

Bevin cleaned Cole's plate up of meat sauce tonight. She's a true Italian that one. Cole is of the I-will-only-eat -buttered noodle Irish faction. The three-year-old eats like a bird (that's what they used to say about me when I was growing up) and the 10-month old eats like a machine! (NOW they say I can put it away.) Thank you baby led weaning!

What's the quickest way to get your freezing cold  3-year-old into a warm bath? Accidentally dump half a bottle of bubbles into the bath and exclaim how much fun the sibling will have in the bath with all of those bubbles.  Clothes off in two seconds flat NO JOKE.  Usually I have to pry them off him.

Snow days are the bomb. Cole gets his kicks by running alongside or behind the snowblower and getting showered with snow. And that Peekaru vest that I bought 3 years ago and used once? Well it has started to see some use! Today was the second time I wore it this season! I took Bevin outside in it (she was underneath it in the Beco Gemini) and she was cozy wozy.

Cole gets his kicks...

A snow day would not be complete without some artwork...
