Lesson 1: The Natural World is Filled with Natural Toys
Dada always said that if he could stay home with Cole he'd take him to the mountains. Well, he finally got his chance. At Split Rock last week, Cole learned some important lessons...
He learned the power of a stick |
He learned that some rocks are too big to throw |
And some rocks are just right |
And when you're in the mountains you can sit anywhere you want for a snack |
Lesson 2: Reading with Others is Fun
At the library story hour Cole has learned that there are other kids his age in town -- go figure!
What a good little boy! |

These pictures are great and I love that Keith is doing so much out of the house with him. When Kris was home with Kale on paternity leave, he found it a bit awkward at first to take him to group stuff because it was usually all mom's. He did find a great daddy-and-me play group though! How is Keith finding that? Is he the lone dad in a pool of women?
ReplyDeleteI just love the pictures ! They're having such wonderful adventures together. I am eagerly awaiting Dada's blog posts, I know how much he cherishes every minute with Cole.
ReplyDeleteThanks for commenting Gamma! Hopefully Dada will post something soon. I'll keep posting until then....
ReplyDeleteRandalin- he said at story hour there was one other father, but the guy had his face buried in his iPhone the whole time. He didn't mind that the rest of the parents were moms, he was just happy that they were meeting kids Cole's age in our area. Kids that eventually Cole will go to school with.
